The playful bursts of color give this piece its title, Kaboom. Each mark breaks and flows differently across the form, creating movement and energy while allowing the clean geometry of the milk jug shape to remain the focus.
Designed as both a functional vase and sculptural object, Kaboom works beautifully with a few stems, a small cutting from the garden, or displayed on its own as a contemporary ceramic accent.
Slip-cast in porcelain and finished by hand in my North Carolina studio, this one-of-a-kind piece celebrates the intersection of everyday objects, color, and form.
