Icons and archetypes recur throughout my work-figures like the skater girl and the bunny girl operate as cultural shorthand. The skater girl carries nostalgia, youth, and freedom; the bunny girl sits in the tension between sexuality and power. Neither is fixed. They’re mirrors-reflecting how femininity is projected, consumed, and reclaimed. I imagine Miss January evolving with an installation-like background, something that reflects the space she’ll be in. For now, pink!
